Payment Terms

We accept payment via check, bank transfer and credit card.  Credit cards accepted are American Express. Visa, MasterCard, Carte Blanche, Diners Club International, Discover and Novus. For opening a line of credit please contact our accountant department.

Shipping Policy

All orders are processed FOB New Orleans.  We use a variety of carriers, for example FED EX, DHL, UPS as well as specialty carriers.

AOTC makes every effort to ship your item(s) as quickly as possible.  Most in stock orders are processed and shipped within 24-48 hours of the sale.  Please note that we do not process orders on weekends or holidays. 

International Shipping:
International shipping rates are determined by a matrix of factors including package size, weight and value. Therefore, in some cases we will not be able to predetermine the shipping costs for your international order.

International Shipping Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the U.S. may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country ("Import Fees"). The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such Import Fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. The purchaser will be responsible for all customs taxes and additional taxes that are charged by the destination country.

Please note that international orders may be subject to VAT and additional customs fees upon delivery. These fees are determined by your local customs officials and are the responsibility of the buyer.

American Overseas is not responsible for loss of international packages once they have been shipped out.


Package Tracking:
Once your order has been processed for shipping, you will receive an email containing a unique  tracking number.


Items that are Out of Stock:
If by chance you ordered an item that is out of stock, we will notify you by email.  You then have the option of either substituting for another item, removing the item from your order, putting the item on back order or placing your order on hold until the item is in stock.  We will give you an estimate of when we expect to have the item in stock, however unforeseen circumstances can alter these approximations.

All products offered by American Overseas Trading Corporation comes with a manufacturer warranty.  If any of the products received are found with some manufacturer defect please contact us immediately.  One of the sales representatives will give you specific instructions.

Hearing Aid Warranty:    

American Overseas Trading Corp. offers a one year manufacturer warranty that initiates the day the product is invoiced.  This one year warranty includes repair for whatever manufacturer defect that may have been caused by labor or parts.  The warranty does not apply if the product is defective due to misuse , abuse or if the instrument has been opened by a non authorized technician or person.

No merchandise can be returned without prior notice. Returns can be made within thirty (30) days after receipt of the goods. To return merchandise please follow these steps:

  1. Contact an American Overseas Trading Corporation representative so you can get an authorized return number.
  2. Include a copy of the invoice
  3. Send item to :

  1. There is a 15% restocking fee that will be charged to your account unless the error was made by AOTC.  In special circumstances there will be no restocking fee if the factory approves the return.

How to Place an Order

When placing your order, please include the following:


  1. Account number
  2. Name of the person and company placing the order
  3. Order codes for the merchandise being ordered along with a description
  4. Quantities
  5. Shipping address
  6. Shipping instructions
  7. Form of payment
